Emilie DeWolfe
I’m passionate about helping individuals cultivate self-compassion, find a sense of inner steadiness, and move toward a life that feels authentic, connected, and meaningful. I specialize in working with eating disorders, OCD, body image concerns, and trauma, and I’m deeply committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and those within marginalized communities through affirming, inclusive, and attuned care.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in honesty. I gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck while honoring your pace and your story. I integrate a blend of traditional talk therapy, CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based approaches, and EMDR, all within a HAES (Health at Every Size)-aligned framework. I especially value helping clients reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels safe, grounded, and genuine.
I work with clients ages 17+ and strive to create a space where you feel deeply seen, respected, and understood, without judgment. I also believe therapy can hold both depth and lightness, with space for authenticity and even humor along the way.
At times, life can feel overwhelming or uncertain. You may feel stuck, exhausted, or unsure where to begin, especially when navigating eating disorder recovery or facing patterns that feel hard to shift. My role is to help gently guide and support you in a way that brings clarity, builds confidence, and makes the process feel more manageable.
Reaching out for support is an act of courage. You don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you as you reconnect with and embrace your authentic self.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy bird watching, working on paint-by-numbers projects, sipping mint tea, spending time with friends and family, and petting any animal that will let me.
Emilie’s private pay fee is $185 per 50 minute session. Emilie is in network with Aetna.
