Hi! I'm Beth!
Having specialized training in family systems, I see the importance of working with relational dynamics.  We were born for connection, and our relationships with ourselves, our families, and our communities are essential. Patterns experienced from early on can be repeated throughout our lives, and I am eager to explore: How did it serve you in the past, and what would you like to change now? Therapy can help you get out of feeling stuck by looking back with compassionate curiosity and using deeper understanding to heal.

There are many reasons why people seek therapy, and I consider it an honor to support others in this courageous journey. Clients report feeling supported and safe with me, and they appreciate my confidence in their ability to achieve their best selves and deeper, more connected relationships. My clinical style is influenced by Narrative therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and other experiential therapies, and I use strength-based, evidenced-based approaches to individualize care.

I was born and raised in Dallas, received a Bachelor of Science at the University of Richmond, and a Master of Science from the Family Institute at Northwestern University. I then gained further training in medical family therapy at UT Southwestern’s Family Studies Center.  I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I am also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Consultant (CEDS-C) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I have worked as a therapist for fifteen years in various settings, including hospital, community clinic, non-profit, and private practice.

I have enjoyed working with diverse clients of all ages, and I am gender and neurodivergent affirming.  I provide individual, couples, and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. My specializations include eating disorder recovery, family systems, attachment focused trauma-informed care, and medical family therapy.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, doing yoga, and being outside (both on a patio and in nature).
